I had over 3,000 visitors to this website this week.  That blows my mind.

Four months ago this blog didn’t exist…and to be honest, I didn’t think it was possible. I’m not all that tech savvy.make life

Enter Sam Gupta at Synapse Worldwide.

I can clearly remember having coffee with Sam at Tossolinis on a Tuesday morning in August.  Sam was outlining the sort of websites that he could establish for me to help me move forward with my new venture PartonMe.

“I don’t have heaps of money to spend,” I told him.

synapseSam assured me that he could come up with something to suit my budget and my business.

So, we talked about what I wanted to post on my site and the sort of people I’d like to reach. Sam had a look at the material and the images that I was posting.  He took my ideas away and came up with a plan.

We reconvened a week or so later.  Sam’s vision was a ‘pinterest’ style Word Press site to make the most of my images.  It’s my first experience with Word Press.  Sam’s company Synapse Worldwide would host the site.  As a part of the deal, Synapse would also establish my @partonme email accounts and do build some basic SEO foundations.

I’m not going to tell you how much the package cost me, but suffice to say I was pleasantly surprised.google

It hasn’t taken me long to push my way into a creditable Google ranking and the traffic has followed.  This week, I got over 2000 hits on a single post.

Christmas is a time of goodwill and I think it’s time for me to say thanks to Sam and Synapse Worldwide.  Synapse are not clients of mine, but I thank them dearly for helping me into the world of blogging.
