The Lifecycle regional riders will be well on their way to Yass by now. They’re on the first leg of a 9 day ride raising money and awareness for the Leukemia Foundation.
The main ride, around Lake Burley Griffin is scheduled for mid November, November 8th and 9th to be precise.
I’m proud to be an ambassador for the Lifecycle 2014.
The regional ride travels to Yass today before going to Goulburn via Crookwell. After that they’re off to Braidwood and then Batemans Bay. They’ll make it to the South Coast for the weekend.
Saturday’s ride is from Batemans Bay to Moruya and Bega. On Sunday they pedal their way to Pambula. Then it’s back home via Bombala, Cooma and Queanbeyan.
We’ll see a small group of core riders riding the entire trek, but along the way they’re being joined my lots of locals in the various towns.
Chief Minister Katy Gallagher officially started the ride this morning outside King O’Malleys.
If you want to be a part of the action around Lake Burley Griffin in November, I’d urge you to check out
On the actual Life Cycle weekend, you can choose how long you wish to ride, whether it be 5kms or something a little more challenging. The first two years of this event have been awesome and I cannot wait for Lifecycle 2014.
